At Little Acorns, we have four beautifully designed rooms, each tailored to meet the specific needs of different age groups. Every room is filled with a thoughtfully curated mix of Montessori materials and specialised resources, providing a dynamic and enriching environment for children to explore, learn, and grow.
Children benefit from a unique blend of Montessori principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, ensuring that their learning is not only hands-on and engaging but also rooted in a structured and developmentally appropriate approach.
What we offer
1. Ages 3 months to 5 years – Tailored care, learning experiences and appropriate rooms according to their age and for every developmental stage.
2. Montessori Teaching – Focused on real-world skills, independence, and social growth.
3. Flexible Hours – Open 52 weeks, 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM, with optional early (7:00 AM) breakfast club and late clubs (until 6:00 PM).
4. Spacious Outdoor Areas – Safe, secure, and designed for active exploration.
Flexible Childcare for Every Stage of Early Development
At Little Acorns, we provide high-quality care and education for children aged 3 months to 5 years, with a strong focus on meeting the individual needs of each child. Our nursery operates Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 6.00 PM, for 52 weeks of the year, ensuring continuity and support for working families.
To accommodate busy schedules, we also offer:
Early Breakfast Club starting at 7:00 AM (by request)
Late Club until 6:00 PM (by request).
Families can choose from full-time or sessional placements, allowing flexibility in how care is arranged. Our spaces are based on a full year basis. Children are grouped by age and developmental stage, ensuring they receive the right support in a nurturing and stimulating environment.
Our children benefit from spacious, secure outdoor play areas at both the front and rear of the nursery—designed to encourage exploration, physical activity, and a deep love of the outdoors..
